The 36th Wing is located on Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, one of the most strategically important bases in the Pacific. The 36th Wing plays a vital role in supporting regional stability and U.S. power projection throughout the Indo – Pacific . Although it has no permanently assigned aircraft, it hosts a wide range of fighter, tanker, and bomber units, making it a major logistics, support, and operations hub. Its mission is to be prepared to execute the pacing OPLAN.
