The 627th Communications Squadron provides secure command, control, communications, computers, and cyber capabilities in support of both deployed and in-garrison missions. The squadron helps maintain reliable communications and information systems to support operations across Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Located near Tacoma, Washington, JBLM is approximately 40 minutes south of Seattle. The surrounding region includes notable landmarks such as the Space Needle, Mount Rainier, Olympic National Park, Mount Baker, and the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.
