The 911th Operations Group (911 OG) is part of the 911th Airlift Wing at Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station, Pennsylvania.  It delivers combat-ready Airmen, equipment, and unwavering mission support for Rapid Global Mobility and Joint Base mission partners. The base is only a 15 minute drive from downtown Pittsburgh which is known both as “the Steel City” for its more than 300 steel-related businesses and as the “City of Bridges” for its 446 bridges. The squadron is referred to as “Iron City”.
