The 305th Operations Support Squadron is part of the 305th Air Mobility Wing at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. It’s vast array of technical experts support operations at two airfields around the clock, ensuring the mission takes off on time, every time. As the largest OSS in the Air Force, its members provide full-spectrum service, including weather, communications, radar, ATC, aircrew training, flight equipment, intelligence and tactics, ensuring Air Force, Army, and Navy aviators are ready at a moments notice. The 305th OSS is indeed, the bedrock of McGuire & Maxfield airfields, earning its fitting alias, “The Rock!”
