NAS Sigonella Sicily CTF-67 Art

Task Force Six Seven (CTF – 67), commonly known as the “War Elephants”, is composed of U.S. Navy land – based maritime patrol, rotary wing, and electronic attack aircraft that operate over the waters of the Mediterranean, North Atlantic, Baltic and Black Sea in anti – submarine, anti – surface, reconnaissance, surveillance, and mining roles. CTF – 67 headquarters is located at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily , where the P – 8A Poseidon frequently deploys under the authority of Task Group 67.1 (CTG 67.1). Also located in Sigonella under the authority of CTF – 67 is the Tactical Operations Center (TOC Sigonella) and Commander, Fleet Air Sigonella (CFAS) .

This poster depicts the scenic Sicilian town of Taormina , with the ancient Greco – Roman amphitheater overlooking the coastline of the Ionian Sea , complimented by the breathtaking views of the active stratovolcano Mount Etna.
