The 188th Wing flew the Block 15 F-16A/B Fighting Falcon from 1988-2001 and the Block 32 F-16C Fighting Falcon, from 2001-2007.

The Arkansas Air National Guard’s 188th Wing is based at Ebbing Air National Guard Base in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Currently the 188th flies the Remotely Piloted Aircraft (MQ-9 Reaper) The 188th Wing is comprised of dedicated, loyal and highly trained Airmen who take immense pride in fulfilling their roles and obligations as National Guardsmen and Airmen.

The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine supersonic multirole fighter aircraft originally developed for the United States Air Force. Designed as an air superiority day fighter, it evolved into a successful all-weather multirole aircraft. Over 4,500 aircraft have been built since production was approved in 1976.
