Davis AF USAFA 557th FTS Art
The 557th Flying Training Squadron (557 FTS) is based at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The squadron’s mission is to introduce and train Air Force Academy cadets in the fundamentals of aviation, helping prepare the next generation of United States Air Force pilots.
The 557th FTS has operated aircraft including the T-41, T-51, and T-53, providing cadets with valuable hands-on flying experience and an early foundation in aviation skills, airmanship, and decision-making.
