The 60th Communications Squadron (60 CS) defends Travis AFB’s cyber terrain, safeguarding and enabling Air Mobility Command’s Rapid Global Mobility mission. The squadron operates and maintains AMC’s 2nd largest data and voice network supporting 26,000 personnel, 3 Wings, and 52 mission partner units. Additionally, it’s charged with providing a $44M enterprise Land Mobile Radio system supporting 15 Air Force bases, to include the Telephone Operator Consolidated Call Center West supporting 10 cross-command Air Force bases.

The 60th Communication’s Squadron (60 CS) is located at Travis AFB in California, “The Gateway to the Pacific”. The squadron is part of the largest Air Mobility Wing in the Air Force’s Air Mobility Command. The 60 CS boasts a number of highly technical cyber work centers synchronized in operating, maintaining and monitoring network health and rapidly identifying disruptions or outages in order to minimize network impact or degradation. Through pandemics, windstorms, and California wildfires, the “Grizzlies” continue to deliver and support the mission.
