McConnell AFB 350th ARS Art

McConnell AFB 350th ARS Art

The 350th Air Refueling Squadron, known as the “Red Falcons,” is a proud unit of the 22nd Air Refueling Wing at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas. Operating the KC-135R Stratotanker, the squadron plays a vital role in supporting the U.S. Air Force’s Global Reach mission, ensuring sustained airpower anywhere in the world. With roots dating back to World War II, the 350th was originally commissioned as the 350th Bomb Squadron, flying B-17s as part of the legendary “Bloody Hundredth.” Based just minutes from downtown Wichita, McConnell AFB is a key hub for aerial refueling operations. This artwork pays tribute to the squadron’s rich history, dedication to air mobility, and enduring legacy in global air operations.
