Detachment 115, known as “Snake Eyes Five,” is an Air Force ROTC unit composed of more than 50 cadets who are full-time students across several universities in the region. The detachment is headquartered at the University of Connecticut and includes cross-town participation from the University of Rhode Island, Central Connecticut State University, Connecticut College, Eastern Connecticut State University, and the University of Hartford. Cadets in Detachment 115 pursue their academic degrees while completing ROTC training designed to prepare them for future service as commissioned officers.
