Seymour Johnson AFB – 333D FS

Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base located to the S/E of Goldsboro, North Carolina. The base is named for Navy test pilot Seymour Johnson, a native of Goldsboro. It is home to the 4th Fighter Wing of the Air Combat Command, which functions as the host wing for the installation. The 4th Fighter Wing is one of the Air Force’s most distinguished fighter wings.

Kill Devil Hills is a town in Dare County, North Carolina near the site of the Wright brothers’ first controlled, powered airplane flights on December 17, 1903. Kitty Hawk, popularly noted as the site of the famous flights, is approximately four miles to the north. 

The 333d Fighter Squadron is part of the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. It operates F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft conducting advanced fighter training.
