The three missile squadrons of the **91st Operations Group—the 740th, 741st, and 742nd Missile Squadrons—**include missile combat crewmembers, missile alert facility managers, and chefs who work together to maintain the missile force around the clock. Each squadron is responsible for 50 launch facilities and five missile alert facilities.

Missile squadrons are organized into missile operations flights and an operations support flight. Missile combat crews are composed of officers who, while on alert, oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance coordination, and security of the missiles under their control. They remain prepared at all times to carry out their assigned mission.

Facility managers ensure the readiness, security, and proper operation of missile alert facilities, while alert facility chefs provide meals for personnel serving at these remote locations. Together, these Airmen sustain the constant readiness required to support the United States’ strategic deterrence mission.
