The 149th Fighter Squadron (149 FS) is a part of the 192d Fighter Wing, Virginia Air National Guard at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. The 149th Fighter Squadron Operates F-22 and T-38 aircraft with the mission to deliver F-22 air power worldwide on short notice to support Combatant Commander taskings. The 149th has a proud lineage traced back to WWII (P-51 Mustang depicted) and includes the first combat employment of the F-22. The squadron is known as the “Blue Nosed Bastards”. (See more below)

Joint Base Langley–Eustis is a United States military facility located adjacent to Hampton and Newport News, Virginia. The base is an amalgamation of the United States Air Force’s Langley Air Force Base and the United States Army’s Fort Eustis which were merged on 1 October 2010.
