The 552nd Operations Support Squadron (522nd OSS) is part of the 552d Air Control Wing at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It manages operations support activity for United States Air Force’s (USAF’s) fleet of 31 E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft and 9 simulators. This squadron develops tactics, annual training programs, and manages contracts to train & deploy 2,300 USAF & Canadian personnel. They are called the “Wizards” and they “lead the rest”.
