Squadron Posters – Commercial

licensed Commissioned Art Agreement

This is a Commercial commissioned artwork limited license agreement for a new Squadron Posters (SP) style artwork design, to be used by the purchaser for Book, CD or DVD cover(s) and/or for merchandise used in the promotion or sale of the Book, CD or DVD’s (with the exception of wall Art). Wall art can be obtained through Squadron Posters exclusively (at our bulk order rates or minimum 10% discount).  This limited Licence agreement allows the purchaser to use the high resolution images (provided by Squadron Posters) for profit, in the sale of Book’s, CD’s, DVD’s or other related merchandise.

This limited licence agreement is limited to this one new commissioned art image and no other Squadron Posters images. Squadron Posters will create one new commissioned art piece with the understanding of providing the purchaser up to 5 revisions after viewing the initial draft. Purchaser will provide as much information, ideas, or preferred images in the form of a PowerPoint format (if possible). Timeline of completing design is an estimate only and is dependent on revisions. Purchaser will cite Squadronposters.com as the artist of the book cover and on merchandise where the art is used. Purchaser will also provide a hyperlink to Squadronposters.com  website (via book companies website if available) with the intent of helping to promote SP art sales.

Squadron Posters is the primary owner of the image copyrights and will share with the purchaser limited rights.  SP will provide two image file sizes (Detentions: 4800 x 6000 and 6000 x 9000) in high resolution and will allow the image to be re-sized and edited (add / delete text) by the purchaser as needed and to fit merchandise. Squadron Posters agrees to provide the limited image rights to the purchaser for an indefinite period of time and no restrictions on quantities printed by the purchaser, through the printing company of their choice.

Additional services out side this agreement may include charges for lost image files, changes to the art once final is approved, or re-sizing images for product fit. The limited rights of the purchaser also include no altering of the image once finalized or allowing 3rd parties to use or alter vector image elements (with the exception of re-sizing to fit merchandise or change text as needed and/or to sell the Book, CD, DVD products as directed by the purchaser). Squadron Posters reserves the right to use vector image elements created in the new artwork in other art as needed. 

SP agrees to promote the sales of the book, CD or DVD with an initial art launch through it’s social media methods (Facebook, Twitter and Pintrist) as well as providing a hylerlink to the preferred promotional website(s) of the purchasers choice on the SP artwork page. SP agrees to post the new artwork on squadronposters.com in standard SP product formats and make the artwork available to the public.

Profits from squadronposters.com website art sales remain with squadronposter.com /Anderson IP LLC. Profits from the sale of the Book, CD, DVD remain with the purchaser and SP claims no share. This Book, CD, DVD Cover Art licence agreement is outside the scope of Squadronposters.com /Anderson IP LLC standard offering of “never charging a design or set-up fee”. (SP does not charge a set-up or design fee for individuals, military or other not for profit organisations while simultaneously giving licensing rights.)

SP’s “10% share your cart” discount(s) does not apply to this limited license purchase agreement. ($1500.00) Coupon code(s) does not apply to this purchase agreement. The intent of this document is to allow the purchaser the freedom to use the completed artwork image on Books CD, DVD covers and merchandise related to the promotion and sale of the Book CD, DVD while protecting Squadron Posters intellectual and artistic vector image property. By purchasing this package (add to cart and complete check-out), the purchaser agrees to the terms provided in this document. (Please keep a copy for your records.)
