With approximately 4,000 members, the Pennsylvania Air National Guard (PaANG), a reserve component of the United States Air Force, plays an important role in the nation’s defense and supporting the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in times of need. The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II served at Horsham Air National Guard Station from 1988 through 2011. Currently the 111th Fighter Wing (now Attack Wing) employs the General Atomics MQ-9 Reapers to directly support combatant commanders across the globe. The 103rd Fighter Squadron is now known as the: 103rd Attack Squadron (103 ATKS). – Artwork depicted is Heritage Art. The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II (also know as the “Warthog”) is an American twin-engine, straight wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic in the early 1970s.
