Helio U-10D Super Courier N5072K Art.

The Helio U-10D Super Courier, tail number N5072K, is a legendary STOL (short takeoff and landing) aircraft designed for utility and versatility. First built in 1967 for the U.S. Air Force, this aircraft later served with the California Air National Guard before joining the Civil Air Patrol‘s Oklahoma Wing in 1979. Known for its remarkable ability to take off in just a few plane lengths, the U-10D features advanced aerodynamics, including leading-edge slats and large trailing-edge flaps. Upgraded with a 295 hp Lycoming engine, the Super Courier has been a reliable workhorse in military and civilian missions alike. Today, N5072K continues to fly, proudly displaying a sleek new paint scheme from Phoenix, Arizona.
