The 192d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (192d AMXS) is a Virginia Air National Guard unit based at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, responsible for maintaining F-22 Raptor fighter jets. Part of the 192d Maintenance Group, the squadron performs on-aircraft, avionics, and weapons maintenance to ensure operational readiness for active duty and Air National Guard missions.
The 192nd Maintenance Group mission is to provide combat-ready personnel and aircraft maintenance in support of the 192nd Fighter Wing, Virginia Air National Guard. The 192nd MXG strives to maintain the highest degree of readiness in order to deliver combat-focused maintenance to the F-22 Raptor mission upon mobilization. Headquartered at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, the 192nd MXG associates with the regular Air Force in support of 46 F-22’s and provides trained personnel to support state emergency and disaster relief. The unit is comprised of two squadrons and one flight, each assigned to a specific area of expertise: the 192nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, the 192nd Maintenance Squadron and the 192nd Maintenance Operations Flight.
