C-12 Personalized Plane White Series military aviation travel poster art by Squadron Posters!
The C-12 Huron is a versatile twin-turboprop aircraft used by the U.S. military for personnel transport, light cargo delivery, and liaison missions. Based on the civilian Beechcraft Super King Air, the C-12 is known for its reliability, adaptability, and performance in a wide range of operational environments. Whether supporting senior leader movements, battlefield commanders, or critical logistics, the C-12 delivers mission flexibility with a small footprint. Its ability to operate from shorter runways and austere locations makes it a key asset in both peacetime and contingency operations across the globe. C-12 variants are used by the United States Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps. These aircraft are used for various duties, including embassy support, medical evacuation, as well as passenger and light cargo transport. Some aircraft are modified with surveillance systems for various missions, including the Cefly Lancer, Beechcraft RC-12 Guardrail and Project Liberty programs.
Originally designated U-25A, the first C-12A models entered service with the U.S. Army in 1974 and were used as a liaison and general personnel transport. The aircraft was essentially an “off-the-shelf” Super King Air 200, powered by the type’s standard Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-41 engines.
