USAF Test Pilot School Class 26A Art

USAF Test Pilot School Class 26A Art

The United States Air Force Test Pilot School is part of the 412th Test Wing at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Established in 1944 and moved to Edwards Air Force Base in 1951 to take advantage of near year-round clear flying weather, USAF TPS is a highly competitive, advanced flight training school that produces flight test aircrew and engineers qualified to conduct full spectrum test and evaluation of current, emerging, and experimental aircraft, spacecraft, and weapons systems. Class 26A represents the first of two classes in 2026 and is comprised of both a Flight and Space Test Course. The Flight Test Course is comprised of nine pilots, one combat systems officer, two remotely piloted aircraft pilots, and twelve flight test engineers. The Space Test Course is comprised of ten space operations personnel. The class has representation from four branches of service and three nations.
