University of Missouri-Columbia AFROTC Det 440 Fighting Tigers vintage style military aviation travel poster art by Squadron Posters!
Detachment 440 is an Air Force ROTC program based at the University of Missouri – Columbia (commonly known as Mizzou). In addition to Mizzou, we proudly serve cadets from several affiliated institutions. We are proud to carry the name “Fighting Tigers” as we prepare the next generation of leaders for service in the United States Air Force. To date, Detachment 440 has commissioned more than 900 cadets as second lieutenants into the United States Air Force. This program is proud to see its exemplary cadets pass through the doors of Crowder Hall on their way to becoming officers in the United States Air Force and now, Space Force.
