Training Squadron Two Nose Art (Navy) by Squadron Posters!
Training Squadron TWO (VT-2) graduates approximately 250 students each year. Logging nearly 21,000 flight hours last year, VT-2 has flown in excess of 2,513,165 flight hours and trained more than 24,382 students since its commissioning. The syllabus completed by VT-2 “Doerbirds” consists of approximately 67 hours of instructional flight time in the T-34C “Turbo Mentor” aircraft and 21 hours in the 2B37 motion-base flight simulator. During this time each student becomes thoroughly trained in the familiarization or “FAM” syllabus, basic instruments, precision aerobatics, radio instruments, formation, and night flying.
Squadron Posters offers the world’s largest collection of Squadron Specific Art! Check out our stunning vintage style military aviation themed travel posters, honoring All Branches of Service. Our artwork not only represents aircraft, armored cavalry, or ships, it represents adventure and travel. This means we create posters featuring the Space Needle, New Orleans, the Golden Gate Bridge, Mt Rushmore and the National Mall. Of course, McChord AFB isn’t in Seattle but if you’re stationed there your adventure surely involves the Space Needle! (See our Facebook page HERE)
