The 495th Fighter Group (495 FG) is headquartered at Shaw AFB, SC and is an Active Duty Air Force unit that reports directly to the 15th Air Force. The group consists of 10 squadrons across the continental United States at 23 separate operating locations. The 495 FG has locations in 20 states spanning the country from each geographic corner of the US from Burlington, VT to Fresno, CA and Portland, OR to Homestead, FL. All of the group’s 23 locations are integrated with an Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve fighter units. The group has Active Duty pilots and maintainers for A-10C, F-15C, F-16, and F-35A aircraft.
