The 351st Air Refueling Squadron (351 ARS) is part of the 100th Air Refueling Wing, also known as the “Bloody Hundredth” from WW2 fame, and the basis for the movie ’Twelve O’Clock High” Stationed at RAF Mildenhall, approx 2 hours from London, the 3-5-1 is USAFE’s only tanker unit and performs Air Refueling and Aeromedical Evacuation missions with US, NATO, and European partners. They’re the only Air Force unit still authorized to fly with our WW2 tail flash, the square D.
