The 157th Air Refueling Wing (157 ARW) is a unit of the New Hampshire Air National Guard, stationed at Pease Air National Guard Base, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. If activated to federal service, the Wing is gained by the United States Air Force Air Mobility Command. Since the September 11 attacks in 2001, the 157th Air Refueling Wing has been operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week in support of the Global War on Terror. Nickname “Live Free or Die!” The KC-135 Stratotanker is a military aerial refueling aircraft.
