The 29th Attack Squadron (29th ATKS) is part of the 49th Wing at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.   It provides initial qualification flight instruction of the MQ-9 in aircraft control, ISR, CAS & SCAR to AD, AFRC & international students.   The MQ-9 is the DoD’s most in-demand & critically staffed MWS.  Holloman AFB sits just 10 minutes East of White Sands National Park, 45 minutes West of the Lincoln National Forrest and 1 hour North of El Paso.

The General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) capable of remote controlled or autonomous flight operations, developed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems primarily for the United States Air Force. The MQ-9and other UAVs are referred to as Remotely Piloted Vehicles/Aircraft by the USAF to indicate their human ground controllers. The MQ-9 is the first hunter-killer UAVdesigned for long-endurance, high-altitude surveillance.
