The 403d Wing is based out of Keesler AFB, Mississippi. It is the first (and currently the only) Air Force Reserve wing to fly C-130J aircraft. The 403rd started out as a Troup Carrier Wing in Portland, Oregon back in 1949. Today, the 403d Wing is home to the Flying Jennies and Hurricane Hunters along with unparalleled maintenance, mission support and aeromedical professionals. In 2019, the 403d Wing marked it’s 70th Anniversary.
