The 728th Air Mobility Squadron (728 AMS) based at Incirlik AB, Turkey is part of the 521st Air Mobility Operations Group (521 AMOG) at Naval Station Rota, Spain and 521st Air Mobility Operations Wing (521 AMOW) at Ramstein AB, Germany. The 7-2-8 supports en route AMC aircraft (C-5’s, C-17’s, and contract airlift such as Boeing 747’s) by servicing, maintaining, and loading cargo for worldwide mobility missions, providing Joint Force velocity in directly supporting five combatant commands and multiple named operations. Incirlik AB is just outside the city of Adana, Turkey with a motto of: “Strength Through Wisdom” and battle cry of: “7-2-8… DAMN STRAIGHT!”
