AATC is a combined Test Center for the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve and are tenants on the AZ Air National Guard Base in Tucson, AZ where the Viper CTF (Combined Test Force) is responsible for Developmental and Operational Test. Our mission is to support the innovation and advancement on the F16C and D models.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine supersonic multirole fighter aircraft originally developed for the United States Air Force. Designed as an air superiority day fighter, it evolved into a successful all-weather multirole aircraft. Over 4,500 aircraft have been built since production was approved in 1976.
