EUCOM Art
USEUCOM – or just EUCOM – is the headquarters for all American forces assigned to the European AOR, which includes 51 of the 52 countries geographically located (at least partially) in Europe. EUCOM oversight includes the 75-100,000 personnel stationed in the region to maintain European stability and security. Founded in 1952 in Frankfurt, it was moved to Stuttgart in 1967, where it has remained ever since. EUCOM sits at Patch Barracks near Stuttgart, Germany, which is home to Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and Bosch, serving as a manufacturing hub and one of the most economically powerful regions in Europe.
