American Legion Post 44 Ridgefield Washington

American Legion Post 44 Ridgefield Washington poster art.

Ridgefield is a small American town located in the south west portion of Washington State. The town was formerly known as Union Ridge, named by the many Union veterans among the first large wave of settlers after the Civil War and was renamed Ridgefield in 1890. Driving into this beautiful and quaint town today, will remind you of the boys coming home after serving our nation. Post 44 is all about giving back; from the 4th of July parade, placing flags up and down local streets and cemeteries on flag days, to raising funds for local community needs. Post 44 renders honors to local veterans and preserves veteran memorials. Learn more about the American Legion and JOIN: HERE
