Air Mobility Command Test and Evaluation Squadron

Air Mobility Command Test and Evaluation Squadron poster art.

The Air Mobility Command Test and Evaluation Squadron (AMC TES) is AMC’s sole Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) organization. It is charged with the conduct of OT&E for AMC’s airlift and tanker weapon systems, new or improved subsystems being considered for integration into these systems, and the full range of ground support equipment to support AMC’s global mission. The dedication and institutional knowledge of its personnel are what empower AMC TES to identify improvements to modernization programs for the C-5, C-130, C-130J, KC-10, KC-135 and C-17, and KC-46A. AMC TES operates locally at Joint-Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ and as the parent organization for one detachment and multiple additional operating locations that provide strategically placed operators, maintainers and acquisitions personnel to support future AF systems.

Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst (JB MDL) is a United States military facility located 18 miles (29 km) southeast of Trenton, New Jersey. The facility is an amalgamation of the United States Air Force’s McGuire Air Force Base, the United States Army’s Fort Dix and the United States Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst, which were merged on 1 October 2009.
