The 837th Cyberspace Operations Squadron (837 COS) is one of two tenant cyber operations squadrons under the 67th Cyberspace Wing situated at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The 837th COS conducts secure, hunt, and clear operations in support of United States Transportation Command and Joint Force Headquarters Department of Defense Information Network. Scott AFB is located just 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis where the famous Arch can be seen. The Squadron’s mascot is the Rook, and their motto is “Checkmate”.
