Korea C-17 731st AMS
The 731st Air Mobility Squadron is Air Mobility Command’s most forward en-route aerial port, located in the Republic of Korea approximately 35 miles south of Seoul and 50 miles south of the DMZ. Annually, the 731 AMS moves 20 thousand tons of cargo and 50 thousand passengers on two thousand mobility missions; these missions take place on Boeing 747s & 767s as well as C-130s, C-17s, and C-5s. Their motto is: “THE TIP OF THE SPEAR” or “REP THE SPEAR”.
