The 51st Operations Support Squadron (51 OSS) is the backbone of the 51st Ops Group, and the 51st Fighter Wing at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. The OSS is the most diverse squadron at Osan with more than 26 different Air Force Specialty Codes assigned to the squadron. They provide air traffic control, airfield operations, radar and weather systems maintenance and operations, weather forecasting, intelligence analysis and dissemination, survival evasion resistance and escape training and support, flight records management, weapons and tactics, aerospace physiology, and aircrew flight equipment. The 51 OSS is the Wyverns “Breathin’ Fire!”
