Command Task Force FIVE SEVEN (CTF – 57) is responsible for Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) within the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet (C5F) area of responsibility. Currently CTF – 57 commands the US Navy’s P – 8A Poseidon and MQ – 4C Triton aircraft to monitor 2.5 million square miles of water to promote peace and protect American interests and strategic cooperation initiatives.
