Task Force Six Seven (CTF-67), commonly known as the “War Elephants”, is composed of U.S. Navy land-based maritime patrol, rotary wing, and electronic attack aircraft that operate over the waters of the Mediterranean, North Atlantic, Baltic and Black Sea in anti-submarine, anti-surface, reconnaissance, surveillance, and mining roles. CTF-67 headquarters is located at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily, where the P-8A Poseidon frequently deploys under the authority of Task Group 67.1. Also located in Sigonella under the authority of CTF-67 is the Tactical Operations Center (Sigonella) and Commander, Fleet Air Sigonella. This poster depicts the scenic Sicilian town of Taormina , with the ancient Greco-Roman amphitheater overlooking the coastline of the Ionian Sea, complimented by the breathtaking views of the active stratovolcano Mount Etna.
