The 33d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (33 AMXS) is responsible for maintaining aircraft assigned to the 33d Fighter Wing (33 FW) on Eglin AFB, and is home to the 58th Aircraft Maintenance Unit (58 AMU) and the newly formed 60th Maintenance Unit (60 AMU). The AMXS’s personnel maintain aircraft that are utilized to train F-35A pilots that will graduate to the Combat Air Force (CAF).
