The 606th Air Control Squadron (606 ACS) is United States Air Forces Europe’s only Control and Reporting Center (CRC) and primary tactical Command and Control (C2) squadron. Comprised of 23 different Air Force Specialty Codes, 300+Amn, 100+ tactical vehicles/equipment and employing the AN/TYQ-23A Tactical Air Operations Module, the 606th callsign “Primo” is assigned to the 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano AB Italy. Executing from the base of the Dolomite Mountains and only an hour drive from Venice, the 606th ACS is postured to provide Battle Management, Command and Control in support of USAFE, NATO and other Combatant Commanders requirements.
