The 91st Attack Squadron is a Total Force Integration classic associate USAF Reserve unit tasked to provide two steady state and four surge combat air patrol capability to the 17th Attack Squadron at Creech AFB, Nevada. Conducts worldwide operations as tasked by senior US government officials using special tactics and capabilities for persistent, real-time reconnaissance, target tracking and destruction. Continuously operates RPAs around the globe to collect intelligence and destroy high-value targets in support of national strategy. Original activation was Feb 1942 and has flown P-39 Aircobra, P-38 Lightning, P-40 Warhawk, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-51 Mustang, F-80 Shooting Star, F-86A Sabre, F-84 Thunderjet, F-101 Voodoo, F-4 Phantom II, A-10 Thunderbolt II, MQ-1 Predator, and currently the MQ-9 Reaper. The “Blue Streaks” have been “Striking from the Heavens” since WWII.
