The Arkansas Air National Guard’s 188th Wing is based at Ebbing Air National Guard Base in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Currently the 188th flies the Remotely Piloted Aircraft (MQ-9 Reaper) The 188th Wing is comprised of dedicated, loyal and highly trained Airmen who take immense pride in fulfilling their roles and obligations as National Guardsmen and Airmen.
The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a single-seat, twin turbofan engine, straight wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic for the United States Air Force. Commonly referred to by the nicknames “Warthog” or “Hog”.
