The 9th Aircraft Maintenance Unit (9th AMU) is a part of the 49th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. It operates the MQ-9 Reaper, supporting the Air Force’s largest Formal Training Unit. Holloman is just minutes from White Sands National Monument, and was featured prominently in the 2007 Michael Bay movie, “Transformers”. The AMU has adopted the name “The Flying Knights”.
