92d Cyberspace Operations Squadron 75th Anniversary Art by – Squadron Posters!
The 92d was again activated on 15 Oct 1946 at Wheeler Field, Hawaii. On 16 July the 92d entered the Jet Age, redesignated the 92d Fighter Squadron at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. The squadron became the 92d Fighter-Interceptor Squadron on 20 Jan 1950 while stationed at Moses Lake AFB, Washington. On 1 Apr 1954 the squadron became the 92d Fighter-Bomber Squadron while stationed at Shepherds Grove, RAF Station England. The final flying unit redesignation occurred on 8 July 1958 when the 92d became a fighter squadron at RAF Bentwaters, England. The 92d FS inactivated on 31 March 1993. The 92d entered the cyber domain of operations when it was activated on 4 October 2000 as the 92d Information Warfare Aggressor Squadron (318th Information Operations Group) at Kelly AFB, Texas. While at Kelly it became the 92d Information Operations Squadron on 1 September 2006. The squadron was redesignated as the 92d Cyberspace Operations Squadron on 30 Oct 2015 at JBSA-Lackland, Texas.
Lackland Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base located in Bexar County, Texas. The base is under the jurisdiction of the 802d Mission Support Group, Air Education and Training Command and an enclave of the city of San Antonio.
