The 47th Operations Support Squadron (47 OSS) is part of the 47 Flying Training Wing at Laughlin AFB, Texas. It is currently the number one pilot-producing base in the USAF flying T-6, T-38, and T-1 aircraft in support of Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training (SUPT). The 47 OSS is home to the “Rattlers”. Laughlin Air Force Base (KDLF or DLF) is a facility of the United States Air Force located in Del Rio, Texas. Laughlin AFB, the largest pilot training base in the Air Force, is home to the 47th Flying Training Wing of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC). On weekdays, the airfield sees more takeoffs and landings than any other airport in the country.
