The Air an Cyberspace Integrated Air Defense Systems Analysis Squadron (nicknamed “AMERICAS IADS Squadron”) is the only DoD squadron tasked with tracking and planning against all “red” threats. They support the warfighter up to the highest levels of the executive branch as well as foreign counterparts. They have been instrumental in some of the most decisive military actions worldwide.
The IADS Analysis Squadron is responsible for analyzing foreign threats to US and allied operations in an effort to maintain US superiority. Their tag line is “Conscientia Arma Vincit“” meaning Joint Knowledge Conquers Defensive Arms. The IADS Analysis Squadron is a part of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) stationed at Wright Patterson AFB near Dayton, OH. They are represented by the symbolic Raven, said to be able to predict the dead in battle. Their presence symbolized the dead on the battlefield.
