Hurlburt Field 65th Special Operations Squadron

Hurlburt Field 65th Special Operations Squadron canvas art.

The 65th Special Operations Squadron is a brand-new (Dec ‘18) AFSOC MQ-9 Squadron, supporting Special Operations in several theaters of combat worldwide. They are stationed at Hurlburt Field, and fly with the 2 SOS. Hurlburt Field is on the Emerald Coast of Florida, in Fort Walton Beach. The squadron has two Medal of Honor Winners from the old WWII B-17 Squadron (Zeamer and Sarnoski–worth the google). Their  nickname (back to WWII) is the “Lucky Dicers” and now go by “Dicers”. Their motto is “Scientiam Fortuna Iuvat”, which loosely translates as “The Odds Favor the Smart,” to play to the dice motif.
