Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum | Wings & Waves Waterpark

If you get a chance to visit the Pacific Northwest one place to mark on your “must do” list is to visit the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, Wings & Waves WaterparkThis amazing Waterpark is an indoor, all-season educational waterpark that includes ten waterslides (ranging from slides for the little ones to slides for daredevils), a wave pool and a hands-on museum. One of the coolest things is you get to slide out of a real Boeing 747 aircraft sitting on the roof while enjoying a day of aviation fun and adventure for the entire family!

Wings & Waves Waterpark

Part of the “Evergreen Museum and Campus” which not only includes this amazing waterpark, it’s also one of the best aviation museums in the Pacific N/W. With displays ranging from the elegant aeronautic designs of two unknown bike mechanics – Orville and Wilbur Wright – to an actual Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird that can fly at speeds of over 2,000 miles per hour. The centerpiece of these aeronautic breakthroughs is the original Spruce Goose. Built entirely of wood due to wartime restrictions on metals, this massive airplane stands as a symbol of American industry during World War II. – the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum located in McMinnville, Oregon, has a little something for everyone.

Founded in the memory of Captain Michael King Smith, our exhibits celebrate the lives of innovators, pilots, and veterans who courageously pioneered flight in these remarkable machines. Plan a visit and explore the aviation museum, have fun in the amazing waterpark, movie theater and  ever-expanding attractions and amenities.

Also be sure to check out the Squadron Posters Artwork on display in the museum art gallery (Main building / 2nd fl mezzanine deck) overlooking the Spruce Goose. This collection represents most military bases in the pacific N/W.
