AFROTC Detachment 159 is celebrating it’s 50th year on the campus of University of Central Florida. Located in Orlando, Florida, the detachment is within short distance to Patrick Space Force Base on the coast. The university has a strong association with the “space coast” and often graduates engineering majors to work on Aerospace design. Launches from the cape can be seen from campus. The mascot for the University is the Knight and the motto is “Charge on!”
