The Cessna 205, 206, and 207, marketed primarily as the Stationair (and also as the Super Skywagon, Skywagon, and Super Skylane), are a family of single-engine, general aviation aircraft with fixed landing gear that are used for commercial and personal use. The Cessna Aircraft Company created the family after developing the popular retractable-gear Cessna 210.The combination of a powerful engine, rugged construction, and a spacious cabin has made these aircraft popular among bush pilots. The 206 is referred to by Cessna as “the sport-utility vehicle of the air.” Aerial photography, skydiving, and other utility purposes are also carried out using these planes. They can be outfitted with floats, amphibious floats, and skis as well. They can also be outfitted with luxury amenities for use as personal air transport.
