This artwork is dedicated to all the professional, hardworking, and compassionate health care providers of the 15th Medical Operations Squadron. The 15th Medical Operations Squadron (15 Med Ops) is part of the 15th Wing located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The squadron takes pride in providing trusted care to more than 14,000 tri-service beneficiaries through the Family Health, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Women’s Health, Physical Therapy, and Immunizations clinics. With a proud history since the attacks on Pearl Harbor on 7 Dec, 1941, the squadron’s motto is “Courage through Compassion.”
Artwork depicts a lone B-17 Flying Fortresses over the 15th Medical Group Clinic and includes “The healing tree”. – The Healing tree was planted in a bomb crater after 7 Dec and is huge today (foreground).
